Leo W. Crowley, 70, of Throop, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025 in Auburn Community Hospital. Born in Syracuse, October 21, 1954, he was the son of the late Helen Woody, and the man who helped raise him, the late Gordon Ellis. Leo was a self-employed general contractor who loved watching Dirt Racing, wrestling and playing poker with family and friends. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Morris; daughters Bonnie Crowley-Donaghy (Melissa) and Alicia Crowley; sons Robert Crowley, and Leo Crowley; siblings Jimmy DiBello, Gordon Ellis (Tammy), Remember Blaisdell, Marjorie Townsend and Mary Young (Marty); seven grandchildren, Zachary, Kyle, Jacob, Nicholas, Aven, Leo, Victoriana; and several nieces and nephews whom he loved.
In addition to his parents, Leo is predeceased by one sister Linda Butler.
Calling hours for Leo will be conducted Tuesday, July 22nd, from 4 to 6 PM at the White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South St., Auburn. A service will follow immediately at 6:00 pm. Burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Port Byron will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday followed by a ceremony of life, at The Eagles Club,1648 Clark Street Rd. Auburn, NY.
