Lynn D. Mozur

Lynn D. Mozur, 75, of Auburn passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026, after a brief illness. Born on February 6, 1951, in Borne, MA, Lynn was the daughter of the late William Mozur and Louise (Christopher) Mozur.

She graduated from West Genesee High School before attending Cayuga Community College, earning an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences in 1971.

She had a long career in local public service, working for nearly 42 years as a Senior Human Resources Associate for the Cayuga County Human Resources and Civil Service Commission before retiring in March 2015.

She has remained an active resident of the Auburn area, by volunteering her time and contributing as a donor to local organizations including the The REV Theatre Company and the Cayuga Community College Foundation.

She is survived by her twin sister Linda A. Torrey (Don) of Skaneateles, NY, a niece Kimberly Lynn Clark (Matt) and two great nephews of Portland, OR, and many extended family members.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, thoughtfulness and generosity.   

Services will be held privately for the family.
