Mark Angier Obituary

Mark William Angier, 77, passed away peacefully November 15, 2025, surrounded by family. Born March 4, 1948 in Brooklyn NY, he grew up as the only boy among three sisters and carried a lifelong gift for humor, connection, and making others feel loved. Mark lived in several states but always considered Wellesley, Massachusetts home before settling in Auburn.

He began his career in sales, then business ownership and coaching, before finding his true passion in teaching. As a teacher and coach at Auburn High School, Mark was cherished by many students, athletes and colleagues. He shared more than fifty years with his wife, Bevan, and together they built a warm, welcoming home filled with family, friends, laughter, and music. A devoted father and grandfather, Mark was known for the songs he wrote and played with his band "It’s Never Too Late," and for the many others he created for his children, grandchildren, and the meaningful moments in his life and in the lives of those he loved.

He loved the beach, oysters, lobster, peach pie, dogs, Hawaiian shirts, golfing, and finding beauty in the simplicity of everyday life. Among Mark’s happiest moments were the countless donut and pastry runs he shared with his grandchildren, simple outings that became treasured traditions and moments of connection.

Mark is predeceased by his parents and his sister Melinda. He is survived by his wife, Bevan (Greene); his three children Megan Floyd (Roy), Lizzy Mucci (Steve), and Matt Angier (Ali); his six grandchildren, Will, Annika, Scarlett, George, Ashlynn and Betsy; his sisters Marjean Marks and Marcia Brower; and beloved nieces and nephews.
