Mary (Samuels) Dennis

Mary Dennis, 86, of Stickles Road, Weedsport, passed away Sunday, February 16,2025 at her home. Born in Auburn on November 3, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Helen T. Samuels. Mary was an Army Veteran having served for four years until her honorable discharge. The Army is where she met and married her husband, the late Charles S. Dennis. For Mary, all that mattered were her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with them. 

She is Survived by two daughters, Sherrie Cook (Jeffrey), Cynthia Dennis (Patrick) and two sons Micheal Dennis (Laura) and Ralph Dennis (Christina); eight Grandchildren, Gavin, Nikita, Zach, Austin, Cody, Jake, Holly, and Donovan; and eight great grandchildren.

She was an avid bowler, swimmer, snowmobiler and animal advocate throughout her life. A Lifetime member of the Clark-Heck American Legion, The Weedsport Winter Wanderers Club and the Weedsport Rod and Gun Club.

Mary was predeceased by her mother Helen, Aunt Veronica, daughter Veronica Lynn, and her companion of 27 years Kenneth T. Hart Sr.

As Per Mary's request there will be no services. Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home, Weedsport.
