Melvin H. Paul

Melvin H. Paul, 72 of Auburn passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026 in Onondaga Rehabilitation and Nursing, Minoa. Born November 9, 1953 in Dayton, OH, he was a resident of the area for most of his life. Mel was an auto detailer by trade and worked for FOX Dealerships and later SMS Auto as a manager of the shop - cleaning, buffing and detailing automobiles. He enjoyed his cats, going to Car and Air Shows, fishing, telling jokes, everything Elvis and was able to sit from time to time and enjoy a Old Milwaukee Beer. Overall, Mel loved his time spent with his fiancé and his family. 

He is survived by his children Brandy Raymond (Nelson), Jennifer Paul, Samantha Wood, Melvin Paul (Val), Andrew Paul (Alexius) and Kristopher Paul; his fiance Rosemary Harrington; her children Joey Tifft, Randy Tifft and Wesley Tifft; Mel's siblings James Paul and Amanda Nichols; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by one brother Benjamin Paul. 

Friends are invited to join the family for a memorial service to be offered Monday, February 23, 2026 at 11:00 am in White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South Street Auburn.
