Michael C. Pethybridge

Michael C Pethybridge, 74, of Cayuga passed away on July 14, 2025, in his home surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Auburn on June 29, 1951, Michael was the son of the late Charles Pethybridge and Gladys Clark Pethybridge Dixon. He was a truck driver for 53 years, a profession he truly loved. He worked for several companies, retiring from McLane Northeast and finding continued enjoyment working at Mapleton Ag. Michael was also a farmer and beekeeper, caring for many animals and collecting some of the best honey.

Michael is survived by his wife and love of his life, Mary Beth Pethybridge; his children, Crystal Evener (Frank Morlock), Shelly Carnicelli and Jason (Kristy) Ciaschi; his stepchildren, Shelly Pethybridge and Sonny Pethybridge; his brothers, Ronnie (Jackie) Pethybridge, James (Rhonda) Dixon, Eddie Dixon, John (Carmella) Dixon and Dennis (Amy) Walowsky, and sister Cathy (James) Atkins. His grandchildren, Riley Evener (Sasha), Mitchell & Rachel Fredenburg, Zachery Valerino, Bella & Harper Ciaschi and several other beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Michael was predeceased by his wife, Cynthia Roberson Pethybridge.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 18th from 3pm - 6pm in White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South Street, Auburn NY. A funeral service will follow at 6pm in the funeral home.
