Michael E. Walsh

Michael E. Walsh, 83 of Owasco passed away Wednesday evening, September 3, 2025 at his home. Born May 23, 1942 in Auburn, he was the son of the late Edward and Rachel Rainone Walsh. Mike earned his bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan University, and soon after married his wife and best friend of 60 years, Marcia (Lotridge) Walsh. For many years, Mike was employed with, and retired from, the Federal Government as Deputy District Director for the Small Business Administration, in Syracuse. 

In addition to his wife, Marcia, Mike is survived by their children: Peter Walsh (Laura) and Andrew Walsh; son-in-law Paul Underhill; grandchildren Chelsea Martin (CJ), Josie, Jack and Rita Walsh; great-grandchildren, Riley and Isabella Martin; and his sister Catherine Catto. 

He was predeceased by his parents; and his cherished daughter, Amy Underhill. 

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., Auburn.
