Nancy Gillooly

Nancy Simmons Gillooly, 76, of Auburn, NY, passed away peacefully May 11, 2025, at the Commons. Nancy was a 1966 graduate of Skaneateles Central School and Powelson Business Institute. She retired from Baldor / ABB Motors after 30 years of employment. Nancy was an avid quilter, loved reading and traveling to Martha's Vinyard, MA., NYC, Monterey, CA., and Daytona Beach, FL. 

Nancy is survived by her mother, Anna Simmons; her sister, Sherry Horrocks (Phil); her brother, David Simmons; her daughters, Heather (Eric) and Jennifer (Cris); her son, Michael; grandchildren, Kirstin, Allyn (Michaelene), Steven, John IV (Meghan), Taylor (Fady), Clifton, Erica, great granddaughter, Marlee; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nancy was predeceased by her father, Henry Palmer Simmons; her husband, Michael Gillooly; her great granddaughter, Mercedes Skye Falcone and her beloved dog, Bridget. 

A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
