Patricia M Ryan

Patricia M Ryan, 90, of Aurelius has gone home to be with our Lord on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Auburn Community Hospital.

Mrs. Ryan was born in Auburn NY on May 20, 1934, to the late John and Eva (Weilgos) Strapach. 

Patricia was a very caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Patricia dedicated her life unselfishly to care for her husband and children. She enjoyed cooking family dinners, camping, picnics, ocean vacations and just sitting and talking with family. Patricia was loved by all that knew her and she will be greatly missed.  

Patricia is survived by her loving and devoted children, Louis J. Ryan III (Lynn), Robert M. Ryan (Cindy), John S. Ryan (Kathy) Debra A. Young (Ronald), Patricia L. Ryan, Thomas T. Ryan (Michele), and 

Betty Jo Ashbarry (Thomas), several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Patrica was predeceased by her husband Louis J. Ryan Jr. , her baby Daniel C. Ryan, all of her siblings, and most recently her daughter, Mary L. Pratt who passed away on June,11 2024.

We would like to thank the nurses and doctors on 3rd memorial and intensive care for taking exceptional care of Patricia during her stay.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 11am at St Mary’s Church, Auburn. Patricia and her husband, Louis will be laid to rest in St Joseph’s Cemetery following mass.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
