Randy (Rog) Stanton, 52, passed away peacefully surrounded by all his family and friends at home Sunday August 25, 2024. He battled MDS and leukemia courageously briefly before he passed.
Rog loved his sports, and he was an avid athlete who was a diehard Steelers and Celtics fan. He loved spending time with his beautiful wife who was his rock and best friend since they were 16, and his children and grandchildren. He also loved R&B music and dancing. He made unforgettable memories with all his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Terrielynn; his children, Erica (Cody), Jessica (Matt), Ty (Codi); his grandchildren, Noah, Mason, Sophia, Cody II, Cayden, Gianna, Treyvor, Troy, Briella, and Tyson; his two siblings, Benitta Martin and Michael Stanton; along with several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, Christine and Roland Stanton, and his grandparents, Eugene and Hazel Hosier.
Calling hours will be held Friday, August 30th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St. Auburn. A graveside service will immediately follow at Fort Hill Cemetery with Pastor Wilson from Roosevelt Memorial Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory the American Cancer Society.
