Richard B. Greer

Richard “Rich” Bruce Greer, aged 80, passed away on June 5, 2024. Most recently he resided at The Commons in Auburn, NY due to a long-term illness.

Rich was predeceased by his parents Jack T. Greer and Elizabeth S. Greer. He was also predeceased by his nephew Joshua Greer.

Rich is survived by his brothers David (Randa) Greer of Baldwinsville and Thomas (Beth) Greer of Fulton. He is also survived by nephews Jared and Jeremy Greer, and niece Jillian Kelly as well as his special friend Ann Burchin.

Rich was born in Auburn, NY and graduated from Central High School. Following studies at Auburn Community College he served for over 25 years as a customer service representative for Trailways Bus Company in New York City. He subsequently returned to Auburn to work for local employers. Rich was a life member of Auburn United Methodist Church. He was an avid fan of Syracuse University football, basketball and lacrosse, as well as New York Yankees baseball and New York Giants football.

Funeral arrangements will be private.
