Richard C. Smith , 78, of Auburn, passed away June 4, 2019 at Van Duyn Nursing Center. Born on April 11, 1941, Richard was the son of the late John and Elizabeth Rumsey Smith. He enjoyed traveling and spent much of his life bike riding across the country. Richard is survived by his brothers, Jim Smith and John (Mildred) Smith Jr., his sisters, Linda, Betty and Sandy and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brothers, Henry Smith and Bill Smith, and brothers in law, Cliff Campbell and Eugene Willit. There will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., Auburn.
