Ronald J. Tratt, 85 of Fosterville Road, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at his home. Born in Auburn on March 28, 1940, he was the son of the late Joseph Sr. and Lucy Wheelock Tratt and was a lifelong resident of the area. Ron was employed with the Cunningham Family and Still Meadow Nursery for almost 50 years and was mechanically inclined, able to fix almost anything. All his life he was a motor head, enjoying all types of cars as well as racing snowmobiles. Ron had a love for the country and his horses, making sure his three girls were horse lovers as well. He was musically inclined and founded the band "Donna and The Country Mistics," where he was the lead guitarist for over 35 years. Most importantly, Ron cherished the time spent with his adoring family.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Patricia Cofrancesco Tratt; daughters Donna Minnoe (Mark), Sharon Gulnac (Steve) and Rhonda Warn Tratt (Dennis Dutcher); former son-in-law Raymond Warn; brothers Mark Tratt and Lloyd Tratt; sister Yvonne Parkinson; two grandchildren Cristina Dyson and Jacob Warn; three great grandchildren Kalli Trude, Ali Kareem and Minh Kareem; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ron is predeceased by brothers Joseph Tratt and James Tratt; sisters Carol Tratt and Nancy Sherlock; and grandsons Scottie Warn and Ronald Trude.
Calling hours will be conducted Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South St. Auburn. A service will follow immediately at 1:00pm. Entombment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery Mausoleum.
