Rusty L. Grant

Rusty L. Grant, 70 the husband of Laurie Seneca Grant of Port Byron, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in Auburn Community Hospital. Born September 12, 1953, he was the son of the late Leland and Jeannette Caza Grant. Throughout his adult life, Rusty worked for several companies including Alco and the Auburn Foundry, but most recently was employed as an operator at Auburn Metal Processing. He enjoyed taking rides on his Harley and was quite the jokester, juggler and very much a handyman that could fix anything. 

In addition to his loving wife Laurie, he is survived by one daughter Amy Eggleston of Groton; son Toby L. Grant of Seneca Falls; brother Gary Grant (Patty); sisters Kelly Konecny (Vince), Lori Sheils, Debbie Lader (Sharon Brown) and Becky Becker; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Rusty is predeceased by three sisters Robin Barr, Judith Fischer and Marjorie Gale Mounts. 

Friends are invited to join the family for a service to be offered Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 1:00pm in the White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport.
