Stephen L. Turner

RED CREEK | Stephen L. Turner, 65, of Red Creek, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Oswego Hospital.

Mr. Turner was born in Fulton on March 27, 1954, to the late Elias and Beverly (Bond) Turner.  Stephen worked as a machinist for Auburn/Nucor Steel and retired after 40 years of service to the company.  Stephen felt most at peace when he was outdoors.  He enjoyed farming and camping.  He also had a great love for all animals. 

Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Rhonda Martin Turner; his children, Christine (Dan) Smith, Erin Turner (Mike), and Eli Martin; his grandchildren, Summer, Elias, and Oliver; his great-grandson, Robert; his siblings, Randy (Katherine) Turner and Lisa (Tim) Hughes. 

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 20, at White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport.
