Timothy L. Hodson

Timothy L. Hodson, 77 of Weedsport passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026 in Auburn Community Hospital. Born October 4, 1948 in Auburn, he was the son of the late Leo and Beatrice Herrick Hodson and a graduate of Syracuse University. Tim was a proud United States Navy Veteran, having served in Vietnam. Early on, he owned and operated a pizza shop in Port Byron and later was employed for many years with Cayuga County Homsite, retiring as Assistant Director. Tim coached little league, was a Boy Scout leader when his children were younger and enjoyed camping at their favorite spot in Parish, NY. He relished summer parities in the backyard, a good bottle of wine and traveling throughout the world with his wife SueAnn, typically aboard a cruise.

In addition to his wife SueAnn Tuszynski Hodson, Tim is survived by children: Tricia McNabb (Rick), Timothy J. Hodson (Shannon), Eric Hodson (Melissa), Daniel Hodson (Barbara) and Michael Bowers (Melanie); brothers Randy and Tom Hodson; and many grandchildren; great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his blanket buddies Dudley and JoJo.  

Tim is predeceased by his parents; brother Robert Hodson; and granddaughter Brenna McNabb.

Calling hours will be conducted Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport. A memorial service with full military honors will follow immediately at 6:00pm, in the funeral home.
