Trung Tran

Trung Tran, 89 of Jordan, NY passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024 in the Commons on St. Anthony. He was born in Ben Tre, Vietnam on December 31, 1934, the son of the late Xuan thi Cao and Nghiem van Tran. Trung received his bachelor's in education in Vietnam and was a High School teacher for Vietnam School in My Tho, as well as teaching Vietnamese, Math and English. He served with the United States Marine Corp. from 1967 to 1975 and was employed as a carpenter with Bartolotta Furniture for over 30 years. Trung loved to fish and enjoyed gardening. He was a family man who gave everything to everyone and laughed every day while living the rest of his life with his family.

He is survived by his wife Hai Thi Pham; one daughter Lan Thi Pham; two granddaughters Wendy Pham and Mai Pham; one grandson in law Kevin Duong; 5 great grandchildren. Anthony Trinh, Jenny Pham, Kathy Pham, Jefferson Pham, Johnathan Trinh and one great-great grandchild, Julia Campos. 

Calling hours for Trung will be conducted Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 10am to 1pm in the White Chapel Funeral Home, 2719 Erie Drive, Weedsport. Buddhist prayer services will be held during calling hours, followed by a cremation service in Oakwood Crematorium, Syracuse.
