William Reed Laderer Jr., 44 of Auburn passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2024. Born in Syracuse on June 23, 1979, Billy was the son of Alecia (Imeson) Laderer Butts and the late William Laderer Sr. He attended Bryant and Stratton College, receiving an associate degree in accounting. He was previously employed with Cayuga Nations in Union Springs. Billy loved fishing and was an avid fan of all New York sports teams. He had an incredible knowledge of Yankees baseball history. He loved watching many different sports games with his best bud, Scott Shirley. Billy also enjoyed working on puzzles with his dear friend, Kim Bertollini.
Billy is survived by his loving mother and stepfather, Alecia and Charles Butts; his siblings, Benjamin (Amy) Laderer, Travis Butts, Jessie Butts and Michelle (Jamie Pasiak) Butts; his two nieces, whom he was so proud of, Megan Laderer and Gloria Harris and many extended family and friends.
Billy was predeceased by his father William Laderer Sr. in 2009.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 16th, from 4pm - 5:30pm in White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South Street, Auburn. A memorial service will follow at 5:30 in the funeral home.
