Winnie dedicated her life to her family and anyone that needed a place to stay, the door was always open. Her vibrant personality and unstoppable sass touched countless lives in her 74 years. With a passion for plastic canvas, watching forensic files, reading VC Andrews, doing her press-on nails, drawing and journaling, Winnie spent her last several years at the Commons and St. Anthony as a resident volunteer and friend to both residents and staff.
There will be no formal services held for Winnie and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family asks that those who knew and loved Winnie honor her by having her favorite meal, a supreme taco from Taco Bell and a Mountain Dew.
