About Us

Our family has been involved in the funeral business since 1927 when our great grandfather, the late Frederick J. Farrell Sr. opened up our family funeral home.  In 1995, our family purchased and renovated a new modern facility and White Chapel Funeral Home was opened.  We saw a need in our community for a “Fresh” facility with a staff committed to treating families with compassion and understanding much like we would treat our own family.   The trust families have put into our family to take care of them, is something that we will never take for granted.  It is everything to us. Our family has taken care of our community for over 90 years.  We are dedicated to continuing this tradition of trust.

In 2001, we expanded the service we provide by opening a second location in Weedsport.  Our family operates both locations with the highest regard for families needs at the time of a loved one's passing.  Our Weedsport location provides the same handicap accessibility as or Auburn Funeral Home.  We are proud to have our family be a part of the Auburn and Weedsport Communities and serve the families of all of Cayuga County.
